Our Legacy

Park Rug Co. & Interiors is a fourth-generation, family-owned business founded in 1922. For over 100 years, we’ve been a trusted name in flooring across Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the D.C. metro area. What started as a small local shop has grown into a full-service flooring company built on craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term relationships — some lasting more than 50 years.

To date, we’ve maintained a perfect, unblemished track record — completing all projects on schedule or ahead of time. Our quality control is built into every step of the process, from planning to final install.

Our Facility

Our headquarters in Laurel, Maryland includes over 15,000 square feet of combined showroom and warehouse space — one of the largest and best-stocked in the region. Centrally located between Baltimore and Washington, we’re positioned for fast, flexible service. With a deep inventory of commercial and property management flooring, we offer same-day, next-day, and even weekend delivery and installation at no extra cost.

Our Capabilities

We’re equipped for projects of any scale. Park Rug Co. is financially strong, with reviewed financials available upon request and a total bonding capacity of $25 million. We also operate as part of an MBE Joint Venture Partnership, expanding our capacity and reach across a range of commercial and multifamily renovation projects.

Our Team

Each project is supported by a dedicated team of project managers, field supervisors, and skilled installers. This structure allows us to manage complex renovations and meet the unique demands of multifamily housing, commercial builds, and ongoing property management work — without sacrificing quality or speed.
